Hinge’s Gen Z D.A.T.E. Report turned dating advice into something useful, honest, and unignorable. Built from insights across 15,000+ users, it focused on the three biggest blockers for Gen Z daters: fear of rejection, confusing digital signals, and avoiding relationship labels. The campaign delivered that message through bold visuals and language Gen Z actually relates to—turning data into action and dating into something you don’t have to dread.

Designing for Attention and Empathy

The visuals were loud in all the right ways: high-contrast text, color-blocked tips, and intimate, unfiltered photography. Instead of polished perfection, the images captured real emotion—blur, awkwardness, softness. Design choices made the advice feel personal, not preachy. You didn’t just read the message. You felt seen by it.

The advice was clear, concrete, and easy to use. It wasn’t style over substance. It was strategy made scannable, and emotional honesty made actionable.

By putting dating insights into public view the campaign met daters mid-doubt and offered a push forward, without pressure. Just clarity and care.
