Project Share Conservation
Original Penguin created Project #ShareConservation in honor of World Penguin Day with the intention of raising awareness and funds for penguin conservation. This year, we've increased our efforts further by partnering with the world renowned conservation group OCEANA to protect the world's oceans and all their inhabitants.
We're excited to join OCEANA in their current fight, which pertains to the plastics crisis in our oceans and the real threat plastics present to sea life like penguins! An estimated 8 million metric tons of plastic enters our ocean every year and these are now being found in our last great wilderness, Antarctica. Join us in helping OCEANA fight the real threat that plastics are causing penguins and seabirds alike!
