Hinge, the dating app designed to be deleted, has launched a new voice feature allowing users to preview someone’s voice before matching with them. Hinge’s voice prompts are meant to offer a deeper representation of its users’ personalities beyond photos and self-written bios.
As the senior brand designer for Hinge I was tasked to create promotional visuals demonstrating successful examples of how the new feature works. The feature gain traction with daters and now has become fodder for viral TikTok content, as users continue to post the bizarre and hilarious prompts.
